Florida Chinese American Communities Donate over 20 Thousand Medical Masks to Tenet Healthcare Group
West Palm Beach, Florida — The Chinese Association of Science, Education and Culture of South Florida (CASEC) and US-China Enterprise Chamber of Commerce-Florida Chapter, will donate over twenty thousand much-needed medical masks (over $30000 values) to Telnet Healthcare Group, a leading provider of high level of quality and service to fight against COVID-19 in South Florida.
Dr. Yao Yan, the president of CASEC, Mr. Ken Yang, the president of Chamber of Commerce, and other members will attend this event.
The Chinese American Communities have been collecting donations from their members to buy personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and have donated over one hundred thousand masks to local hospitals, schools and police departments.
CASEC is the largest organization of Chinese American established in South Florida in 1994 as a non-profit, no-religious and no-political organization, focusing on Asian culture, educational and scientific programs. It is committed to building a strong community through leadership, collaborative efforts, multi-cultural promotion and services. For the past 25 years, CASEC has provided cultural, social and educational programs to both its member and local communities through South Florida. It’s mission is to organize local Chinese to participate in activities of American society and to strength the ties between the local Chinese community, China and the rest of American societies by improving communications in the fields of science, technology, and businesses; to exchange professional information and develop friendship among members and preserve the Chinese culture .
